Balance is literally defined as “a condition in which different elements are equal or in the CORRECT proportions.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So, in this particular case, balance is NOT 50% clean, 50% pizza. Balance is NOT eat clean planned meals m-f then whatever the heck you want Friday night to Sunday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s a tricky thing to measure out! But once you realize REAL balance, you will understand what it means to appreciate food as fuel and have an abundant mindset about it when it comes to treating yo self. Not to dwell and feel guilty that you “ruined” it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My 2 simple tips for when you want something off-nutrition-plan:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Do it. BUTTTTT have you been good 80% of the day? Were you 100% yesterday? Are your meals planned or prepped for tomorrow / the rest of the week? If these answers are a YES, than do it, girlfriend.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. A serious question to ask yourself is, is making this decision going to result in going all-out for more than just satisfying a particular taste? Then will it leave you feeling guilty? If these answers are a yes, it’s probably best to hold yourself accountable and realize the mental effect this will have on you later. But ultimately your choice. Up to you to decide. (I say this because YOU have to learn discipline. I can’t slap your hand every time you reach for that 4th cookie and complain about the regret later😉)
