In the video, you get a visual demo of how and in what order I apply my skincare. There are certain products in The Ordinary’s skincare line that should not be used together. (My evening routine is completely different!)
Also, I do not wash my face in the mornings! I have a complete evening routine and sleep on a clean face. Therefore, when I wake up, I just wipe my face with a cotton round soaked in a glycolic toning solution. This is all I need in the morning! Not too stripping on my face, and easy peasy.
Even though I don’t have wrinkles, I have found that using my anti-aging products just make me feel good since I am all about prevention rather than correction!
I was pleasantly surprised by the foundation serum! I didn’t know how it was going to blend, dry, and wear, but it turned out beautifully! It works very well with a moistened beauty blender sponge and doesn’t feel sticky on my face. I can also attest that it stays on well during a good workout! Love that.
What I love most though, is that this is the final step of my skincare routine because it’s not just a makeup foundation, it is a facial serum tinted to work as a makeup while the ingredients within work to better my skin. Not mask and cause more harm like other well-known makeup brands I’ve used throughout the years.
Lastly, I will say the 3.0 was way too dark to blend in with the 2.0 for my complexion. So I went back and ordered the 1.2 and I mix that with the 2.0 for a perfect color match for my skin. So, I go in with the 3.0 on my cheeks as a contour. No product will get wasted!
